Accessibility Statement

MaxHaven Rx is committed to an accessible website and aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement describes what we have done, the known limitations and how to report a barrier so we can fix it.

Our commitment

MaxHaven Rx wants every visitor, including hospice leaders, clinicians, patients and families who use assistive technology, to be able to read and use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic page structure with one main heading per page, landmarks and a skip link.
  • Every feature works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface colors meet AA contrast ratios.
  • Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and explained in text.
  • Animations are reduced or turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Pages reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged up to 200%.

Known limitations

Some older article cover images contain their title as part of the image. The same title is always available as text on the page.
